Frequently asked questions

Why did my PNG become much smaller as JPG?

JPG uses lossy compression designed for photos, so it is usually far smaller. Use PNG if you need transparency or crisp text.

Why can’t I save WebP on my iPhone?

Safari can display WebP but can’t create it. The tool tells you when this happens and saves a PNG instead.
